Behind the Scenes in Knightsbridge

This is the view of the rear side of the retained façade at 55-91 Knightsbridge.

At over one hundred and eight meters in length - running along Knightsbridge and turning into Wilton Place - this extensive structure is thought to be the longest façade retention in London. Built to the design of WD Caröe in 1905 the façades, including the red brick and Portland stone details, will be carefully cleaned and repaired as part of the redevelopment.

MSMR are working alongside lead architects Dixon Jones, delivering part of the overall mixed-use scheme which is made up of residential, commercial and retail space plus a reinstated roofscape.

Appointed to provide interior architecture and design services, we are working on the scheme's residential element. Following completion of the designs for the 15 luxury apartments (digital images below), we are now completing further designs for the common areas including reception, lifts, lift lobbies and a residents' lounge.
