Immortalised Exhibition Gets Visitors Thinking

Immortalised was a competition and exhibition by Historic England. Our design 'Contextualising Colston' explored the Bristol businessman's links to the slave trade and was shown alongside four large scale installations and nine smaller pieces at The Workshop event space.

An immersive exhibition, visitors were invited to enter four giant monuments that hold the key to England's memorials past and future. From a Trafalgar Square lion to the Brighton Peace ‘Angel,’ each addressing how, why and who we remember, from the well-loved and famous, to the lost local hero.

Visitors were impressed by the thought-provoking exhibition, taking to Twitter with their reviews here & here & here.

Location: The Workshop, 26 Lambeth High Street, London, SE1 7AG
Dates: Wed 11th Sept- Sun 16th Sept 2019
